Private hospitality institute with in-house training kitchens, bakery and restaurant laboratories.
The bar you have to clear before Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management will look at your application.
Class 12 in any stream with English as a subject. Central institutes admit on NCHMCT JEE; many private institutes admit on Class 12 marks with an interview.
Check if you qualifyThis institute admits on merit / entrance rather than a common entrance test, so your Class 12 aggregate is what carries the application.
See exam datesCut-offs move every year with the number of applicants, the paper’s difficulty and the seats released in each category, so no honest page can print one figure and call it settled. Tell us your category, domicile and expected score and we will send you the closing ranks Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management actually finished at in the last rounds.
Who approves it, who accredits it, and exactly what to verify before you pay a rupee.
A private institute, admitting through the state entrance test for the state quota and through a management or all-India quota alongside it. Fees are set by the institute within the state fee regulator’s ceiling.
Ask us to confirmA undergraduate hospitality programme needs a live approval from the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) for its affiliated institutes, or the affiliating university. Accreditation is separate and voluntary — NAAC at institute level, alongside the affiliating body’s own recognition — and it is the better signal of teaching quality. Approval is renewed annually, so what matters is the status for your admission year.
Get the current statusEvery approval is public. Check the NCHMCT list for the current year, the university’s own affiliation notice, and the NIRF ranking if the institute claims one. If a claim is not on the regulator’s own site, treat it as a claim.
We will check for youThe official prospectus is the only place the fee structure, refund rules and hostel charges are binding. A counsellor’s verbal figure is not, and neither is a listing site’s.
Fees explainedNever pay a seat-blocking amount in cash or to a personal account. Fees go to the institute’s own account against a numbered receipt, and the receipt should name the programme and the year.
Talk to us firstWe do not publish an approval grade for Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management here, because approval status changes year to year and a stale grade on a website is exactly how students get misled. Ask us and we will pull the current entry from the regulator’s own list while you wait.
