Delhi NCR private university with a wide engineering branch spread and an active placement drive.
The bar you have to clear before Galgotias University will look at your application.
Class 12 (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and the aggregate the state or institute sets for the year — commonly 45–50% for reserved categories and 50–60% for the general category.
Check if you qualifyAdmission runs on GEEE or JEE Main. You need a valid score from the same admission year — a previous year’s result will not carry over.
See exam datesCut-offs move every year with the number of applicants, the paper’s difficulty and the seats released in each category, so no honest page can print one figure and call it settled. Tell us your category, domicile and expected score and we will send you the closing ranks Galgotias University actually finished at in the last rounds.
Who approves it, who accredits it, and exactly what to verify before you pay a rupee.
A university in its own right — it awards its own degrees, sets its own syllabus and very often runs its own entrance test on its own calendar, separate from state counselling. Apply directly and watch its dates, because they usually open before the state rounds.
Ask us to confirmA undergraduate engineering programme needs a live approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Accreditation is separate and voluntary — the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), which accredits individual programmes rather than the whole institute — and it is the better signal of teaching quality. Approval is renewed annually, so what matters is the status for your admission year.
Get the current statusEvery approval is public. Check the AICTE list for the current year, the university’s own affiliation notice, and the NIRF ranking if the institute claims one. If a claim is not on the regulator’s own site, treat it as a claim.
We will check for youThe official prospectus is the only place the fee structure, refund rules and hostel charges are binding. A counsellor’s verbal figure is not, and neither is a listing site’s.
Fees explainedNever pay a seat-blocking amount in cash or to a personal account. Fees go to the institute’s own account against a numbered receipt, and the receipt should name the programme and the year.
Talk to us firstWe do not publish an approval grade for Galgotias University here, because approval status changes year to year and a stale grade on a website is exactly how students get misled. Ask us and we will pull the current entry from the regulator’s own list while you wait.
The route in, in the order it actually happens. Miss a date at any step and the next one closes with it.
Create the account and submit the form inside the registration window — it does not reopen. Galgotias University also accepts JEE Main, so sitting more than one widens your options.
Download the admit card, sit the paper, then keep the scorecard and rank letter safe. You will need them at every round that follows.
Register separately for counselling — qualifying does not enrol you. Put Galgotias University in your choice list in true order of preference, because the allotment engine reads that order literally.
On allotment, report by the deadline with your originals, complete verification and pay the fee against a receipt. Miss the date and the seat goes to the next candidate.
Aadhaar, passport photographs, and a domicile certificate if you are claiming a state quota seat.
